Not many people are totally comfortable with end of life issues. Being around people who are dying forces us to look our own mortality square in the face. However, I have found that God often calls us out of our comfort zones as a way to get closer to him.
Community Home Care and Hospice is in desperate need of volunteers to come sit with their patients. All they ask is for one hour per month. Many of their patients reside in nursing homes and have no one to visit them.
