I am super excited about the opening of a farmers market in
Kernersville this weekend. There is just nothing like fresh fruits
and veggies...they are healthier and tastier than the store bought
variety and buying them supports our local economy. Below is

RIBBON CUTTING FRIDAY MAY 14TH AT 9AM
The Kernersville Farmers Market is located in front of the
Kernersville Town Hall at 134 E. Mountain Street, Kernersville.
The Kernersville Farmers Market is a joint venture of the
Chamber ofCommerce, KDPDC, Kernersville Rotary Club,
Town of Kernersville and local farmers.
Farmer’s Market hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. – 12 noon
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, May 15 - October 31, 2010.
All products sold at the Market must be grown or agriculturally
related andmade of farm products by the person or family selling
the product. Only home grown or home made products from the
following counties may be sold: Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance,
Randolph, Davidson, Davie, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry, Rockingham,
Caswell and Montgomery. No buying and reselling of produce
or other products is allowed.
