So You Think You Don't Have Time to Work Out

Thanks to Allen Branch from Fitness One in Kernersville for providing this "excuse busting" illustration of how we really do have time to fit exercise into our lives.  According to Allen, you can get and stay fit in as little as 4 hours per week.  Check out the chart below to see how you can find fitness time in your weekly schedule.

Item                                Time Required             Remaining Hours

Hours in Week                  24 x 7 = 168                         168

Sleep                                    8 x 7 = 56                        112

Work                                   9 x 5 = 45                          67

Commuting                          2 x 5 = 10                          57

Preparing Meals                    1 x 7 = 7                           50

Housework                           1 x 7 = 7                           43

Showering/Dressing/              1 x 7 = 7                          36
Personal Care

TV/Computer/                      2 x 7 = 14                         22
”Screen Time”

Church/Religious/                  1 x 7 = 7                           15
Volunteer Activites

Kids After School Activites    2 x 5 = 10                          5

See!  After everything else, you still have 5 hours left...plenty of time to fit in exercise!
