Good afternoon, everyone. I have very, very exciting news for all of you today. Thanks to the passion and dedication of three of our amazing Designers, Celebrating Home has been able to help out an incredibly deserving family through the television show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!!!
National Executive Wanda McDowell, Senior Rising Star Kathy Johnson and Shining Star Designer Patsy Flynn were the on-the-ground team that helped coordinate the donation of all of the stoneware for the kitchen renovation on which Extreme Home Makeover is currently working. This renovation is in Davidson County, North Carolina and is taking place to benefit William and Tricia Creasey. Tricia Creasey is a beloved seventh-grade teacher currently battling stage four cancer while she and her husband struggle to keep their family together and their home livable. They bought a fixer-upper several years ago, but the repairs have taken a back seat to medical expenses, not to mention the needs of their 12 year old daughter and 5 year old twins.
Wanda, Patsy and Kathy have worked very hard to help Celebrating Home be a part of making a difference in this family’s life. We will all be on-site for the “big reveal’ this Tuesday and will have a wonderful opportunity to speak with the show’s producers and stars who work so hard to make dreams come true for so many around the country. I will continue to blog about this over the next two days… including a video or two…so you can experience it right alongside me. Also, we will be sure to let you know of the final products that were selected by the show’s star designers so you can let your Customers and Hostesses know which of your items have been featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! We will also make sure we get you all the details, links to the websites and press releases so you can share this most recent example of your company, Celebrating Home, coming together with our Designers to make a difference and impact local communities all across the country.
