Mwangaza Children's Choir
Mwangaza Children’s Choir will be sharing their talents at New Hope United Methodist Church located at 5125 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, N.C. THIS FRIDAY, February 18 – 7:00 p.m. This is a group of 20 spirited and talented children, ages 9-14, who represent the orphaned and poverty-stricken youth of Uganda. The children tour on behalf of Africa Renewal Ministries (ARM) to worship, minister and share their message of hope through song and dance. Mwangaza (m-wahn-gah’-zah) is the Swahili word for “shining light”. The choir is a missionary and fundraising branch of Africa Renewal Ministries which performs original Ugandan music that represents the country’s rich and deep-rooted culture. Their music promises to be a real blessing to everyone who comes.
