Enchanted Prom

The YWCA will hold its ninth annual Enchanted Prom Memories dress giveaway March 19 and March 26 from noon to 4 p.m. at Hanes Mall on the upper level next to Sears. Last year, 600 dresses were distributed. The program is still accepting donations of dresses, wraps, purses, jewelry, makeup and shoes, anything that a young girl would need for the prom.
Donations can be dropped off at the YWCA, 1300 Main St., and at the YWCA Best Choice Center, 1031 Highland Ave.

Girls who want to attend the giveaway need to pre-register and pay a fee of $1 at the door. They must have a high school ID and an adult guardian with them. To pre-register, contact Wallace at ellenw@ywcaws.org. To find out more, go to ywcaws.org, click on "Best Choice Center" and select "Enchanted Prom."
